Taft ISD Staff and Student Inclement Weather Plans for February 15-16, 2021
In anticipation of hazardous road conditions caused by wet, wintry weather forecasted for our
area, Interim Superintendent, Angelita Lopez, is directing all employees to work remotely on
Monday, February 15, 2021, during our scheduled Staff Development Day. Employees will
work with their supervisors regarding their remote workday. Monday is not an instructional
day for students.

teachers and students should plan to participate via Remote Learning. Teachers should
communicate with parents and students regarding instruction and students should check their
online learning platform for lesson activities. Administrators, Directors/Supervisors, and
Hourly Staff will report to work at 9:30 a.m. on February 16, 2021. Employees will work withtheir supervisors regarding their work expectations and schedule.
