Our Carpentry Training Program offers the OSHA 30 Certification. To receive the certification, the student will be able to take the HBI certification test after they successfully complete the Continuing ED course(s) for that particular certification. These courses are taught by Del Mar College instructors on the TSID campus. Once a student passes the course(s) AND the certification test, the student will receive the HBI certification. This certification allows students to gain employment in the construction industry after high school graduation.

• Principles of Construction (9th Grade, 1 Credit, No Prerequisites)

• Construction Technology I (10th Grade, 2 Credit, Prerequisites: Principals of Construction)

• Construction Technology II (11th Grade, 2 Credit, Prerequisites: Construction Technology I)

• Practicum in Construction Technology (12th Grade, 2 Credit, Prerequisites: Construction Technology II)
