Engineering Foundation Program of Study

Robotics

The Foundation of Engineering Program of Study focuses on Robotics, AI, Fabrication. The following courses are offered as a complete program of study, earning an IBC in Autodesk Certified User AutoCAD. In addition students are part of the FTC and NSA competitions held each year. Student teams work together to brainstorm ideas, create a design, build design, then test its ability to accomplish the task Autonomous and student driven. The following are course and description of the course in the Program of Study.

  • Introduction to Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (9th Grade 1 Credit)

  • Robotics 1 (10th Grade 1 Credit)

  • Intermediate Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (10th Grade 1 Credit, Prerequisites: Architectural Design I, or

    Introduction to Computer-Aided Design

  • Robotics 2 (11th Grade 1 Credit, Prerequisites: Robotics l )

  • Engineering Design and Presentation (12th Grade 1 Credit, Prerequisites: Algebra I)
